About the Role
As a Bluegrass Fiber Field Technician, your main purpose is to be a Considerate, Approachable, Reliable Expert for our current and potential customers. You are responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of issues at customer’s homes. Much of your day will be travelling to service calls and working with your Truck Lead to complete the tasks assigned. This position includes a heavy focus on working with ladders and heights in general, the average installation height for our Point-to-Point (abbr. PtP) equipment is 20 feet. All Field Technicians report to their Truck Lead. Most of the training will take place in the field.

Starting pay at $18/hour, with a $2/hour increase after 90 days

Requirements
Strong interpersonal skills and active listening
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Familiarity and comfortability with tools, power tools, ladders and operating a bucket truck.
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Excellent problem-solving skills
Attention to details, organizational skills
Respecting and safeguarding people's property
(Encouraged but not Required) General understanding of housing construction
(Encouraged but not Required) Familiarity with wireless technology
